If I were…
- A dish: something that doesn’t exist in cookbooks, sweet and savory, for its ephemeral and contrasting qualities.
- A kitchen utensil: a whisk for making pancakes, of course!
- A sports item: a portable ping-pong net that can be hung anywhere, for a quick break to let off steam.
- An innovator: Gyro Gearloose, but I’m nowhere near as good as him, actually.
- A country: Spain, for its accent, colors, and flavors.
- A writer: I would be Zola… with his pen more powerful than a camera.
- A cocktail: Tequila Sunrise, for its colors.
- A song: “Sous le soleil de Bodega” by Les Négresses Vertes. If you asked me again in 10 minutes, I’d say something else.
- An object I would take to a desert island: a jukebox… or a camera… I can’t decide.
- A flower: a poppy, for its wildness in the fields.
- A painter: Monet, who paints poppies 😉.
