On 23 June, part of the team was in Brest to represent Valorial at the International Open, a must-attend event for businesses with global ambitions.
At the event, three members of the team were on hand to run the Valorial stand, where we showcased two projects: Biotech4Food (a European project focusing on biotech innovations in the agri-food sector) and Farm’Innov (an international cooperation project carried out with Kenya). The stand attracted the interest of many visitors and enabled us to make several promising contacts!
It was also a great opportunity to meet many of our members, to take the time to discuss their international projects with them… and to introduce them to our new range of services, redesigned to provide even better support to players in the agri-food sector as they drive innovation!
The event brought together over 850 participants and generated more than 500 B2B meetings, in an atmosphere conducive to discussion and openness. Themed workshops also enriched the day by providing valuable insights into a variety of topics.
The highlight of this year’s event was an inspiring round-table discussion on the theme of “Sustainable internationalisation: staying the course as economies reshape themselves”. Three speakers with complementary backgrounds shared their visions, experiences and perspectives on more resilient and responsible international development.
