On the first day, presentations such as ‘Vietnam’s Economy and Policy Landscape’ provided a better understanding of the country’s structural reforms, investment climate and macroeconomic outlook. The information sessions were complemented by 145 one-to-one meetings, facilitating the identification of potential industrial and technological partnerships.
The second day offered a practical immersion in Vietnamese industry, notably through visits to the VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park and the local company Autotech Machinery JSC, illustrating manufacturing capabilities, automation solutions and investment opportunities in advanced manufacturing and logistics.
The third day highlighted Vietnam’s innovation and technology ecosystem, with visits to FPT Corporation (digital technologies, cloud computing, semiconductors), the Vietnam National Innovation Centre (support for start-ups and technology transfer) and the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (research into advanced materials, ICT and nanotechnologies). These exchanges demonstrated the country’s dynamism in the field of innovation and the strong potential for collaborations focused on R&D, clean technologies and Industry 4.0.
This mission confirmed the strong potential for cooperation between the European Union and Vietnam in strategic, high-value-added sectors. For Valorial, this represents a concrete opportunity to explore technological and industrial partnerships, exchanges of expertise and co-innovation, opening up promising prospects for high-impact international projects.
