Euroclusters projects currently offer a range of tiered funding opportunities to support your innovation projects. In practical terms, this funding is more accessible than traditional schemes: the application process is simpler and the deadlines are shorter, whilst still enabling support for ambitious projects.
Five initiatives have particularly caught our attention and may be of interest to Valorial members.
The Gate5.0 programme is aimed at SMEs wishing to develop, test and roll out innovative Agritech solutions on a large scale. This includes, in particular, projects incorporating the Internet of Things, robotics, artificial intelligence and precision farming, with a clear objective: to address sustainability challenges.
Meanwhile, BioNetZero targets energy-intensive agri-food companies. The ambition is clear: to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit dependence on critical inputs by supporting innovative solutions aligned with the transition to net-zero.
The CITADEL project focuses on urban environments. It aims to enhance security, protect critical infrastructure and improve resilience to natural and technological disasters, drawing on the ecological and digital transitions.
RENEW-BOOSTER, meanwhile, supports SMEs developing solutions that promote resilience and diversification within clean energy supply chains.
Grappa focuses on the development, adoption and commercialisation of innovative ingredients derived from upcycling, intended for food and non-food applications, as well as products, operational processes and technologies (including digital ones) that optimise the utilisation of agri-food biomass and secondary streams.
Finally, GreenGrid supports the development of and investment in green and digital solutions, particularly in the energy, clean technology and industrial sectors.
To help you turn information into action, these topics will be at the heart of the event ‘European Calls for Proposals: Understanding, Positioning Yourself, Applying’, organised by Valorial on 8 April 2026 in Rennes. On the agenda: an analysis of current calls, a focus on cascade funding, practical workshops and concrete advice on joining a consortium or putting together your application. A hands-on morning session to turn these opportunities into concrete projects.
These schemes represent a real opportunity to fund your innovations within a simplified European framework.
The Valorial team is, of course, here to support you and answer your questions!
