On February 21, 2024 at 4pm, Audencia students from the MSc in Food and Agribusiness Management are organizing an international webinar to deconstruct certain beliefs about agriculture in Brazil, Nigeria, and France. And to discuss innovation as a booster of inclusive, efficient, and sustainable food systems. 

Key points in the program for this English-speaking event, on Microsoft Teams:

4pm – 5pm: Presentation of the scientific facts by the researchers: 

  • Jose Carlos Polidoro (Embrapa, Brazil): “The agroenvironmental strategies of agriculture and livestock in Brazil: the reconciliation between economic, social and environmental”
  • Prof Gervaise Debucquet (Audencia, France): “Societal controversies around new GMOs (genome editing)”
  • Olawale Rotimi Opeyemi (JR Farms Africa, Nigeria): « How AgTech has shaped the Nigeria Food Systems: The impact of tech platforms, E-commerce and precision Agriculture »

5pm – 6pm: Round table discussion and sharing of experiences with these same scientists and industry experts: 

  • Luther Lawoyin (Price Pally, Nigeria)
  • José Luiz Tejon Megido (Biomarketing, Brazil)

6pm – 7pm: Further discussions and networking in sub-groups with participants from all over the world.
